About

I am a music professional, songwriter, and researcher with a background in Music Production and Recording Arts, currently pursuing my Master’s degree in the College of Arts and Media, with a focus on Music Restoration and Archiving.

I completed my B.S. in Music, with an emphasis in Music Production and Recording Arts, from the University of Colorado Denver in July 2026. My academic and professional experience includes recording, mixing, music production, studio techniques, live sound, songwriting, artist branding, and music marketing, with hands-on experience using industry-standard digital audio workstations such as Pro Tools and Logic Pro.

Alongside my technical work in music, I am a songwriter and published poetry writer. I maintain an active portfolio of original compositions, with some of my music having been used in academic and international contexts, including Model United Nations (MUN).

My current Master’s research focuses on the restoration, preservation, and archiving of traditional music. I am particularly passionate about documenting and preserving the diverse musical heritage of India, especially traditions that are at risk of being forgotten.

My ongoing work includes research and documentation related to the traditional music of the Kodava and Kudiya communities of Karnataka, along with Patua (Chitrakar) music, Tappa traditions of West Bengal, and rare traditional folk instruments.

Through this work, I hope to contribute to the preservation of cultural identity and ensure that traditional musical knowledge, sounds, and stories remain accessible to future generations.

I enjoy travelling and exploring different parts of the world, discovering new cultures, traditions, and artistic expressions. These experiences continue to influence my perspective on music, creativity, and cultural preservation.
